Do surfaces need to be undercoated and primed?

Surfaces that are going a different colour should always be undercoated. This will give you the best finish. Likewise for woodwork. Unpainted or sanded back to raw wood, surface should always be primed.

What product brands do you use?

This is subject to your budget but we have Trade accounts with the following suppliers - Dulux, Crown, Paint Master, Brewers.

How long does it take for paint to dry?

Paints are ready to recoat after a couple of hours. Normally dry to touch in 1 to 5 hours, and typically cure in 28 days. Avoid wiping painted surfaces until the paint completely cures.
